![]() ![]() ![]() When I first received my VCDS, I played around with the settings and got to a point where I was not able to reset the light, and after I did some reading I adjusted the values back, and everything was good again. There are 2 types of tire monitoring systems, the one that uses the tire rolling-circumference, and the one that uses tire pressure sensors installed inside the wheel that transmits the pressure value wirelessly to the a controller. I am now thinking the op problem is caused by the gateway, it is expecting a value from a module that is NOT installed, there are 2 types of monitoring systems programmable in in the firmware, you may need a vcds to see what modules are installed in the vehicle and what modules are programmed in the firmware, and then delete the absent module from the programming. I reset the button and the light reset and remained off, and when I added on the others I hit the reset button. I recently put on my snows, but when I found 2 of them had leaks, I did only install the other 2 on the front, the light came on only after driving 30 km or so, my snows are 16",summer are 17".
